Something exciting is happening at Winterplace Ski Resort! It's our Five and Eight Week Ski/Snowboard Program. Over the past nineteen seasons, thousands have learned to ski/snowboard in a safe and fun environment --at a very low cost.  Plus, we are excited to offer the NEW 8 WEEK Program for only an additional $30 total for 3 sessions. 

The Ski/Snowboard School Program - Designed specifically for 15 or more students from the elementary to the high school level. This program is geared toward creating a socially interactive and safe learning environment. Not only will your students learn about participating in a healthy outdoor activity, they will also learn the importance of meeting challenges, responsibility, setting and achieving goals. This program helps to build individual confidence and positive group interaction.

This Is How It Works - The program includes five/eight, skiing/boarding sessions. Each session will begin with a 90 minute group lesson by one of our ski/board school professionals. Winterplace is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America utilizing the American Teaching System. This is a proven teaching method that we guarantee will teach you how to ski or snowboard safely. Learning to ski/board at Winterplace is fun and exciting! We have a dedicated teaching area Almost Heaven where you will learn and practice the basics. This area is used exclusively for beginners. After everyone is comfortable on their gear, we move on to one of our beginner trails which are gently sloping and easily accessible.

The Ski/Board Program Includes - A full mountain lift ticket, rental equipment and a 90 minute group lesson for ALL five or eight sessions. On an individual basis, this would normally cost the 5 week participant $455.00, and the 8 week participant $728.00. But we are proud to offer the Five Week program for as little as $99.00, total per 5 week participant; or the Eight Week program for as little as $129, total per 8 week participant!

One fully-funded Five/Eight Week, Ski/Snowboard Scholarship is awarded FREE to one person for every 10 participants. This scholarship covers the entire program for one participant. This scholarship includes the full mountain lift ticket, rental equipment group lesson for all five/eight sessions of the program. You can award this scholarship to a person as an award or an incentive. So, for every ten paying skiers/boarders, your group will receive one FREE scholarship.

Also, one fully-funded Five/Eight Week, Ski/Snowboard Scholarship is awarded to one chaperone for every 15 participants.  The chaperon's scholarship works the same as the Five/Eight week participant's scholarship - it covers the entire Five/Eight Week, Ski/Snowboard Program (lift ticket, rental equipment and group lesson for five/eight sessions.)
